3-Minute Microwave Pedas

I found this interesting recipe online and when I tried it, the result was heavenly!



Cook Time: 20 mins


Ingredients

  • 200 ml Condensed milk

  • 160 gms Milk powder

  • 1/2 tbsp Ghee

  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

  • 4 saffron strands

  • 3 tbsp Hot milk

  • Slivered pistachios, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak saffron in hot milk. Keep aside

  2. In a microwave safe bowl add the milk powder, condensed milk, ghee, saffron milk and mix well making sure there are no lumps

  3. Microwave on high for a minute

  4. Mix well and add cardamom powder

  5. Microwave it for 30 seconds at a time till you find it less of moisture

  6. Once slightly warm make pedas by greasing your hands and kneading it slightly before you make a peda (kneading is to avoid cracks)
