Akara Vadisal or Akara Adisal (Sweet pongal in milk)

This is an Iyengar dish and is the cousin of Iyer style sweet pongal. Few differences between the 2 are Akaravadisal is cooked fully with Milk whereas Pongal is cooked with water. one of the main ingredients of Akaravadisal is ghee, this dish is not AV if there is no ghee. The ratio of ghee to rice is generally 1:1 actually, but I have used 1/2:1. Another small difference is the ratio of rice to moong dal, this is lesser moong dal compared to Pongal and the moong dal is roasted in pongal whereas in AV, you dont need to, it is more of a pudding
