This is an easy kheer recipe and extremely tasty! The recipe also depends on the type of apples, how sweet and aromatic they are. I made them with Iranian apples which we get in Dubai only during the winter months.

Ingredients
2 tins Grated apple
320 ml Evaporated milk
1 tsp Ghee
5 tbsp Sugar
1 cup Milk
1 tsp Cardamom powder
Slivered pistachios and almonds, for garnish
Instructions
In a non stick pan take ghee and add the grated apples
Cook for 5 minutes and it will get a little shrivelled
Add sugar and cook for another 5 minutes
Add the evaporated milk and 1 cup of milk and boil till it reduces a bit and you get a creamy kheer
Sprinkle cardamom powder and garnish with almonds and pistachios
Serve cold
