Beans and Potato Rasa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Long pipe beans

  • 1/3 cup Potatoes cut into big cubes

  • 1/2 cup Finely chopped tomatoes

  • Salt, to taste

  • 2 tsp Chilli powder

  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 2 tsps Coriander powder

  • 1 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  • Finely chopped coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Destring the beans and cut into 1 inch pieces

  2. In a pressure pan take oil and splutter jeera

  3. Add turmeric powder, and tomatoes and saute till it becomes mushy

  4. Add salt, chilli powder, coriander powder and saute for 2 minutes

  5. Add the potatoes and beans, 1 cup water and cook in 1 whistle

  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis
