Bedmi Puri is a very famous breakfast usually eaten in Delhi and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. It is paired with Aloo Sabzi and is quite filling. These hot puffed Puris is a versatile Indian bread that tastes delicious with almost any Indian Subzi or Dal.

Ingredients
1/4 cup Urad dal
5 Green chillies
1" Grated ginger
Salt, to taste
1 and 1/2 cups Wheat flour
1 tbsp Fennel seeds powder
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
Oil for frying
Instructions
Soak the urad dal for 2 hours in hot water
Drain the urad dal and grind it along with green chillies and ginger to a coarse paste
In a wide vessel, take the urad dal paste, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder and fennel powder and mix well
Add the wheat flour and make a firm dough. You can add water but make sure the dough is tight. Keep aside for half an hour.
Roll out thick puris and deep fry
Serve hot with aloo gravy
