Brown Chana Sundal

Prep Time: 8 hrs

Cook Time: 1 hr


Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown chana

  • Salt, to taste

  • 2 tbsp Fresh grated coconut

For tempering

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • 4 red chillies

  • 5-7 Curry leaves

  • 1 tsp Hing

Instructions

  1. Soak the chana overnight

  2. Pressure cook the chana for 4-5 whistles

  3. In a pan add oil, splutter mustard seeds and curry leaves

  4. Add the red chillies, hing and mix

  5. Add the cooked chana, salt and mix well

  6. Garnish with grated coconut
