This is far from healthy biscuits but c’mon, how often do you eat such biscuits and how many at a time would you actually eat?! This is a very buttery, aromatic and crispy cookie and turns out much better than the store bought ones!

Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups Maida
2 tbsp Custard powder
1/4 cup Cashew powder
160 gms Unsalted butter
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1 tsp Kewra essence
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1/2 cup Finely chopped cashew nuts and pistachios
1/2 tsp Baking powder
Instructions
In a bowl, add the maida and whisk in baking powder, custard powder and the cashew powder. Mix well.
In another bowl, add the butter and sugar and cream it well
Add the kewra essence and the cardamom powder and mix well
Fold in the dry ingredients and mix it well
Toss the cashew nuts and pistachios in and mix well. Knead it softly to a dough, add milk if it is too dry (do not knead hard) and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Either roll it and cut into different shapes or before refrigerating you can form a rectangular log and then cut into slices
Line them in a greased baking tray and bake them for 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C, keeping a watch till the sides start turning light brown
