Cauliflower and Matar Kheema

This is a veggie with grated cauliflower. This dish tastes like and can be had with rotis and a dal. You can mix this with a small boiled mashed potato and make a filling for a grilled sandwich as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cauliflower grated

  • 1/4 cup Frozen green peas

  • 4 Finely chopped green chillies

  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 tsp Chilli powder

  • 1 tsp Coriander powder

  • 3 tbsp Yogurt

  • 2 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  • 1 tsp Hing

  • Finely chopped coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pan take oil and splutter cumin seeds

  2. Add the hing, green chillies, garlic and ginger and sauté for a minute

  3. Add the cauliflower and sauté for 3-4 minutes till it gets cooked

  4. Add salt, coriander powder, chilli powder, frozen peas and cover and sauté for another minute

  5. Add yogurt and cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, till it is cooked well

  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis
