I did not know about this dal until my friend Saroj taught me this simple yet tasty recipe. This dal is best had with rotis.
Cook Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
1 cup Chana dal
3 Slit green chillies
1 tbsp Besan
Salt, to taste
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Oil
Finely chopped coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
In a pressure pan add little oil and add cumin seeds, saute till it sputters
Add the green chillies and the besan and saute till the raw aroma of the besan goes away
Add the soaked chana dal, double the water and the salt and give 2-3 whistles
Garnish with coriander leaves
