This is basically coconut chutney but with red chilies, giving it a different colour to the chutney.

Ingredients
1/2 cup Fresh grated coconut
3 tbsp Roasted gram dal (chutney dal)
4 Red chillies
3 Shallots
1 tsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal
1/2 tsp Hing
3 Curry leaves
Instructions
Soak the red chillies for 15 minutes (to get a good colour)
Add the coconut, roasted gram dal, red chillies, shallots, salt and grind to a paste
In a pan take oil and splutter mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves and saute till dal becomes light brown
Add this to the chutney and mix well
Serve with any South Indian breakfast
