I looked up a recipe for these cookies as I recently bought a packet of caramel chips from the US and did not know where and how to use it.

Cook Time: 12 mins
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups Maida
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp Baking soda
a pinch Salt
1 tsp Vanilla essence
2 and 1/2 tbsp Milk
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Butter
3/4 cup Caramel chips
Instructions
In a wide vessel, whisk together maida, baking powders, soda and salt well
In a mixing bowl, add the butter and sugar and cream well
Add vanilla essence and the milk and beat once again
In a small cup take the caramel chips and rub flour in it (this is to avoid chips from sinking to the bottom)
Add the dry ingredients and fold in gently mixing well
Add the chips and mix once more, cover with a cling wrap and refrigerate for half an hour
Make equal sized balls and line them on a greased baking tray
Slightly press them and bake them in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, carefully keeping a watch for the top to become light golden
