This is another cake recipe made with dates and maida. I posted another recipe similar to this with wheat flour. You can also skip the sugar and make this as a bread.

Ingredients
18 Seedless dates
3/4 cup Milk
1 cup Maida
3/4 cup Brown sugar (optional)
1/2 cup Oil
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tbsp Walnuts chopped (optional)
Instructions
Soak the dates in half quantity of warm milk mentioned above so that it gets softer
Grind this to a smooth paste
In a mixing bowl cream oil, sugar (optional) and the rest of the milk till sugar dissolves
Add the dates paste and mix well
Mix the maida and baking soda well and add this to the mixture
Add the chopped walnuts, if you are using
Pour this on a greased pan and bake in 175 degrees C preheated oven for 15 minutes
