Generally we powder the oats and mix it in the flour when we make cookies with oats but in this recipe I added oats as is with chocolate chips. I also used white and brown chocolate chips as I had a little of both.

Ingredients
90 gms Maida
90 gms Instant oats
150 gms Powdered sugar
1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
50 gms Unsalted butter
1 tsp Baking soda
A pinch of salt
110 gms dark chocolate chips
3 tbsp Milk
Instructions
In a wide pan mix the flour, salt, baking soda and the cinnamon powder and whisk well
In another bowl, add the butter and sugar and cream well
Add the flour and fold in well
Add the oats and gently bind a dough (it will be dry)
Add the milk and the chocolate chips and make a firm dough but handle it gently
Scoop out a small ball of dough, flatten a bit and line them on a greased baking tray
Bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 20-25 minutes, keeping a watch till it starts becoming brown on the sides (I knew it was done baking with the wonderful whiff of the cinnamon smell in my house!)
