Eggless Pinwheel Cookies

This is a really tasty cookie and should be made carefully. This is a combination of vanilla and chocolate cookies.

Cook Time: 20 mins


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida

  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup Butter

  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence

  • 1/4 cup Cooking chocolate or chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar in a wide vessel

  2. Add maida and make a pliable dough, add milk if its too dry

  3. Make the dough into 2 parts and refrigerate for 20 minutes

  4. Melt chocolate chips and add this to one part and make a dough, refrigerate for 20 minutes

  5. Take 2 butter papers and roll the dough separately on the butter paper to a ¼” long rectangle

  6. Slowly place the chocolate rectangle over the vanilla one and roll this into a cylinder (this has to be done very slowly, roll it slowly along with the paper)

  7. Seal the edges by pressing well and cut it into discs

  8. Line these in a greased baking tray

  9. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees C and bake these for 10-15 minutes, keeping a watch
