These cookies are very tasty and the main taste and aroma buster is the saffron. Make sure to keep a watch when you are baking as you do not want to over-bake the smell in this cookie.

Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups maida
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
2 tbsp Warm milk
7-8 saffron strands
Slivered pistachios, for garnish
1 tsp Cardamom powder
1/2 cup Ghee
Instructions
Soak the saffron in warm milk and keep aside
In a mixing bowl, cream ghee and sugar till it becomes white and airy
Add the maida and the cardamom powder and mix well
Add the milk little by little and make a smooth dough
Try to roll into a thick roti and cut into cookies (if it is hard to roll make balls and flatten them)
Garnish with pistachios and bake for 10-12 minutes at 160 degrees C, taking care not to burn them
