These are called karachi biscuits and are famous in Hyderabad. Tastes yummy and made a few changes to the original recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup Maida
1/2 cup Powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
A pinch of Salt
1 tsp Pineapple or karachi biscuit essence
4 tbsp Custard powder
1/24 cup Tutti frutti
4 tbsp chopped cashew nuts
1 tbsp milk (only if needed)
Instructions
In a wide tray combine maida, cornflour, salt and mix well
In a pan add butter and sugar and beat it well to make the mixture airy and light
Add the essence and the tutti fruity and mix well
Add all the dry ingredients and mix well to form a dough (if the mixture is very dry and you are not able to roll add milk, but do not add more)
Roll this dough into a thick rectangle or square and refrigerate for 1 hour
Slowly cut into squares or roundlets and line them in a greased tray
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees
