My mom used to get a lot of butter from cream as she used to buy buffalo milk in Mumbai which gives a lot of cream everyday. She used to collect this and once a fortnight make butter out of this. And she used to make ghee out of this butter. Both the butter and ghee are extremely tasty. I dont remember my amma even buying ghee from the store. If you start making ghee at home, you will never ever buy store ghee.
