Idli Upma

This is a very lazy breakfast, when you have left over idlis from the previous night. This is eaten for breakfast as it is light and filling at the same time.


Cook Time: 15 mins





Ingredients

  • 10 Left over idlis

  • Salt, to taste

For tempering

  • 1 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 1 tsp Urad dal

  • 4 Green chillies cut into 2

  • 1 tbsp Molgapodi

Instructions

  1. Crumble the idlis and keep aside

  2. In a pan take oil and splutter mustard seeds

  3. Add the urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves, saute till urad dal becomes light brown

  4. Add the crumbled idlis, salt, molgapodi and saute well for 6-7 minutes

  5. Serve hot
