This is a cookie topped with roasted cumin seeds. Tastes yummy with your evening tea or coffee!

Ingredients
1 cup + 2 tbsps Maida
Salt, to taste
2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp + 1 tbsp Roasted Cumin seeds
1/2 cup Butter
1-2 tbsps as needed Milk
Instructions
Dry roast 1 + 1 tbsp jeera and crush 1 tbsp coarsely, keep 1 tbsp aside to use later
Whisk butter and sugar till light and airy
Mix maida, salt & crushed jeera
Add the maida to the butter-sugar mixture and mix gently
Add milk and make a soft dough
Refrigerate this dough in the fridge for an hour
Place the dough in between 2 butter papers and roll it into a 1/4″ thickness
Sprinkle the whole roasted jeera and press slightly
Cut into desired shapes with a cookie cutter
Line them on a greased baking tray and sprinkle some cumin seeds on top
Bake them at 180 degrees C preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or till the bottom and sides turn light brown
