This is a delicacy from Mangalore. It is eaten as a snack in the evenings with tea. These buns are usually sold in the street side small shops with fresh milk in Mangalore. The banana in this snack is a stealer.

Ingredients
1 Cup Wheat flour
1 Ripe bananas
3 tsps Sugar
A pinch of Salt
1 tsp Fennel seeds
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
2 & 1/2 tbsps curd
Oil, for frying
Instructions
Mash the banana with your hands well till there are no pieces
Add in sugar and mix again
Add in salt and curd and mix well
Toss in the soda and mix.
Add wheat flour and knead a pliable dough, keep covered for half hour
You will see that it has become sticky due to the curd and bananas, add some more flour and make it pliable
Take lemon size balls, rolls puris and deep fry till cooked on both sides
Serve hot with a gravy dish
