I was a bit amused when I saw this recipe on the web and was curios to know what this kheer was ( I am always a bit curious when it comes to sweets).
Mangane is a Goan sweet prepared with chana dal, sago and jaggery cooked in coconut milk. This kheer is made by Hindus on festivals or any occasions. I always was a fan of coconut milk-jaggery combos in deserts but in this I liked the chana dal and sago combo which is not very common
