I had this tasty rice once as prasad at the Sindhi temple and instantly loved the taste. So I asked one of my sindhi friends to give me the recipe. This is one of my favorite rice dishes till date.

Cook Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
2 cups Finely chopped methi leaves
1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
Salt to taste
2 tsps Cumin seeds
2 tsps Turmeric powder
5 Finely chopped green chillies
2 Grated garlic
3 tbsps Ghee
3 cups basmati rice
Instructions
Soak the basmati rice for 1/2 hour
In a pressure pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, chopped chillies and garlic and saute for 1 min
Add the chopped tomatoes, salt and saute till the tomatoes become mashy
Add the methi leaves and rice and saute till the oil oozes
Add 4 & 1/2 cups of water and cook for 1 whistle
Serve hot with raita
