This was my father’s favourite snack. It can be made quickly and it tastes delicious. My mom used to make this for dinner especially on Sunday nights when we have had a heavy lunch as this is very easy to digest.

Ingredients
For the yogurt mixture
2 cups yogurt, diluted with water in the ratio 1:3
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Hing
1 cup Rice flour
For tempering
4 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
4 Red chillies broken into two
5-7 Curry leaves
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients in the yogurt mixture and whip it well (it would be watery)
In a pan take oil and add all ingredients for tempering
Fry till urad dal turns light brown
Add the yogurt mixture and start cooking stirring continuously till it becomes thick like halwa
Serve hot just as is
Notes
Instead of red chillies, ideally curd chillies are added which tastes even yummier.
