This was the last recipe I managed to take from my mom in her last few days :(. People used to love her sambhar powder and she never ever bought from the store. She used to make this during the summer months in bulk and give all of us including my kids. She used to give this to the chakki and she made sure she would decide the date when the chakki used to grind this first thing in the morning before he grinds other garam masalas so that the aroma remains authentic and doesnt get mixed with other masalas
I tried this for the first time and ground this in my mixie. This is a recipe for keeps specially for me
