Ingredients
1 tbsp Chickpeas
1 tbsp Brown chana
1 tbsp peanuts
1 tbsp Green moong dal
1 tbsp dried white peas
1 tbsp Green dried peas
2 tbsp chana dal
1 tbsp Pigeon eyed beans
1 tbsp Brown pigeon eyed beans
3 tbsp Grated coconut
Salt, to taste
For tempering
2 tbsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
4 red chillies
1 tsp Hing
1 tbsp Sundal powder
5-7 Curry leaves
Instructions
Soak the pulses overnight
In a pressure cooker, add all the pulses except chana dal and cook for 2-3 whistles, drain the water
Cook chana dal in an open flame, drain once cooked
In a pan take oil, splutter mustard seeds,i add red chillies, curry leaves and hing
Add the cooked drained pulses, salt and saute well
Add sundal powder as much as needed, saute for a min
Garnish with grated coconut
