Oats Paratha

This oats is a very healthy recipe, made with wheat flour and oats spiced with chilli powder and onion as an option.


Prep Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat flour

  • 3/4 cup Coarsely ground oats

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  • 2 tsps Chilli powder

  • 4 tbsps Finely chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 Finely chopped onions (optional)

  • Oil for cooking and smearing on dough

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients except oil and mix well

  2. Add water little by little and knead into a soft dough

  3. Smear oil and keep aside covered for half an hour

  4. Roll this into a thick paratha and cook on both sides on a pan, adding little oil on both sides

  5. Serve hot with a subzi of your choice
