Peanut Sundal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Peanut

  • Salt, to taste

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

Grind to a powder

  • 4 tbsp Fresh grated coconut

  • 2-3 Green chillies

For tempering

  • 1 tbsp Oil

  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 1 tsp Hing

  • 5-7 Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Soak the peanuts overnight

  2. Pressure cook the soaked peanuts along with salt and turmeric powder for 3-4 whistles

  3. Grind coconut and green chillies without adding water

  4. In a pan, take oil and splutter mustard seeds, add hing, curry leaves and saute for a minute

  5. Add the cooked and drained peanuts and mix well, add salt if required

  6. Garnish with coconut mixture
