his is a very simple poha recipe which I usually make when I am fasting for Santoshimata. This dish is tempered with mustard seeds and fresh coconut. This is very filling and can be a good breakfast dish when you wish to have a different variety of poha.
Cook Time: 15 mins
Ingredients
1 cup Thick poha
Salt, to taste
3 tbsp Fresh grated coconut
To temper
2 tsps Coconut Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Urad dal
4 Green chillies cut into 2
Instructions
Toss the poha in a drainer and wash under running water twice, fluff it with a fork once it is a little dry
In a pan take oil and splutter mustard seeds, urad dal and green chillies and saute till the dal gets light brown
Add the poha, salt and saute for a minute
Add grated coconut and saute for a minute, serve hot
