This is a tasty rice variety with potatoes and capsicum spiced with sambhar powder.

Cook Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
2 Potatoes boiled and cubed
1 Capsicum sliced
Salt to taste
3 tbsp Sambhar powder
2 cup Basmati rice
For tempering
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Instructions
Cook the rice with a little salt, make sure it does not get over cooked. The rice grains should be separate.
In a pan add ghee and oil, splutter mustard seeds and add turmeric powder
Add the capsicum and saute for 3 mins
Add the potatoes, salt and the sambhar powder, saute and mix well
Add the cooked rice and mix well
Top it with a little ghee if required
