Though the name sounds healthy, it is the quinoa that is healthy, but the rest of the recipe is still that of a kheer. It is still worth a try as it is easy and equally tasty!

Ingredients
1/2 cup Quinoa
1 tsp Ghee
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Water
4 tbsp Sugar
4 Saffron strands
1 tsp Cardamom powder
Slivered almonds and pistachios, for garnish
Instructions
Wash the quinoa well and soak for half an hour. Drain the water.
In a pressure pan, take ghee and saute the quinoa on low flame for 5 minutes till it becomes nutty
Add 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup water and cook for 1-2 whistles
Open the pan, add the remaining milk and saffron and boil till it becomes thick
Add the sugar, mix well and cook for another minute. Switch off the flame.
Sprinkle cardamom powder and garnish with almonds and pistachios
