This again is my mom’s signature dish. She makes it so crisp, I remember my brother used to eat the entire thing before we sat down to each lunch. If any of it is left, we would eat it with sambhar rice or rasam rice.

Ingredients
4 Raw banana (long variety)
Salt, to taste
1 tsp Hing
2 tsps Chilli powder
5 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Coconut oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Instructions
Cut the bananas into small cubes and keep in water
In a non stick pan, add the oils
Splutter mustard seeds and add turmeric powder
Add the drained cubed bananas and cook in open flame, till it gets cooked
Once roasted add salt, chilli powder and cook on low flame for 10 minutes to roast well (it should be crisp)
Serve this as an accompaniment with sambhar or rasam rice
