This is an easy peasy kheer if you want to make some sweet quickly and without much ingredients. Very tasty too. This is called a poor man's kheer, i am not sure of the reason why, but I think when we get sick we are given this kheer but in a more diluted form adding more water and less milk, perhaps thats why.. but I think if made fully with milk, this is a gorgeous desert and a versatile one as you can make it with different flavours ie mango, strawberry etc as sago does not have a particular taste.. I have posted the picture of mango puree added to sago kheer which I had made once, but forgot to take a picture of the final dish. I had made single desert cups of the kheer topped with mango puree for desert. I also missed mentioning to add Saffron in plain kheer as well
