I came upon this recipe when I had some frozen corn and did not want to make a dish too elaborate. This was the perfect dish!
Cook Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
2 cups Sweet corn frozen
Salt, to taste
4 tbsp Milk
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Finely chopped onions
2 small Finely chopped tomatoes
1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
3 Finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Finely chopped coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions
Heat oil in a wok and splutter cumin seeds
Add chopped onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste and saute till light brown
Add the turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes and salt and saute till it becomes a mushy mixture
Add all the spices and cook for a minute more
Add the corn, cover and cook till the corn is cooked well
Add the milk and cream if you are adding and cook till it becomes a thick gravy
Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with phulkas
